PARENTING...

Parenting is a tough job, which requires not only skill and time, but also virtues of patience, perseverance, deep thinking, planning, executing, and tolerance. Understanding the child's mind, is not an easy job, the tantrums, mood swings, sulks, fusss, oh..... In a nutshell, no job is as tough as grooming a human kid. God created human, and endowed this speceis with the towering work of continuing the progeny of genarations. And the saying fits, AS YOU SOW SO SHALL YOU REAP.... the kind of upbringing we give our kids is going to show up in our future times. When to be soft, when to be strict, when to caress, when to punish, differs from kid to kid. The most important of all is to teach the virtue of honesty, and truthfulness, SPEAK THE TRUTH....no matter what. Kids tend to lie, unknowingly to escape punishment or rebuke, and slowly it becomes a habit. A habit which if persists can lead to utter spoiling of a character and immoral individual. Thus parents too need to be vigilant, cautious and careful, and check themselves so that the habit of telling lies doesnot get passed on as a hereditary trait.
