MURDER OF HUMANITY

 The on going discussion about Sushant Singh Rajput has actually raised queries in our minds : Are we safe? Can we expect to live and work without the support of the sharks in the society? Has justice gone into hibernation? Is muscle power and money inevitable for survival? 

Where is humanity? Is morality dead? Has honesty been slaughtered? Open corruption, goondaraj, a big shame for mortals. Even the Creator in Heaven must be ashamed of his creation...the human mind. 

Criminality at its peak. Where are we heading to? Open defense for the culprit by a State Government, are we so incompetent to handle  the truth?

The worst thing is that the so called heroes and heroines of Bollywood whom the common people idiolise are mute spectators who choose to remain neutral and silent at this burning issue? Film stars need to be condemned, isolated and completely shunned, they are a disgrace. 

What are we teaching our future generation? Immorality, nepotism, dishonesty, manipulation, deceit, lies...and we expect a developed Nation !   

 

This Summer was different (2020)

 This Summer was different 

Not that the sun lessened its heat
Not that the hot winds stopped blowing
Not that dawn started appearing earlier than normal
Not that the days seemed longer and nights shorter

Rather , the plants around seemed to be greener
The early morning air appeared fresher
The chirping of the birds sounded merrier
The dancing of the peacock looked fancier
Blooming of the flowers looked flamboyanter
Nature truly appeared adorned in beautification
Just like the landscape of the painter dipped in perfect colors of harmony

The flora and fauna breathing life fresh and clean
Ecstasy prevailing all around in the screen
But the evolved intelligent genre seemed to be tucked in
The four walls, the TV screen, the digital device was all it could live with in
The visit to granny's house was not there
Nor was uncle aunt's visit to the kid's abode
No hill station visits, no sea beaches to revisit
No meetings with kith and kin
As social distancing has been the only meme
Time seemed to have taken a pause
With only masks, gloves, sanitizers and the frequent hand wash
Uncertainty prevailing all around
Digitalization taking troll in every ground
Mankind seemed to be living upside down
And Nature glowing with sunshine and beam.

WOMANHOOD.....

Twinkling like the Stars in the Sky
You light up homes in every way you try
Working like a machine dressed in flesh and skin
You brighten up the ambience with your gleam
You are beauty
You are brains
You are divine
You are intellect
You define tolerance
You define sacrifice
You bind families
You synonymize Management
You epitomize the ten hand Goddess
A daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother....
The roles you play are too many in number
Truly you are The Diamond in the family, the society and the Nation
We salute you O Woman...for your dedication
In everything that you do with full concentration.

LOCKDOWN

Alas....
The moment has come which we could not even dream of in our wildest thoughts. Confinement to the four walls over days and days with no chance of venturing out anywhere. Did we humans ever visualize that a time would come in our lives when we would have to imprison ourselves inside our homes? The drives, cafe meets, shopping out, eating out, hanging out with friends, family outings....have suddenly been reduced to the stature of ONCE Upon a time. We are becoming legendary characters striving to describe our own lifestyle. Dressing up, moving out, partying all seem to belong to the yesteryears.
Time seems to have paused, and days and nights seem to be same. The daily routine is a replica of it's own self, getting repeated daily with no change. Mankind seems to be paying a heavy price for its negligent attitude towards Mother Nature. As rightly quoted that Mother is the biggest well wisher and should be cared for. Then how co
